Laser Protection Adviser Ltd Online Self-Directed Courses

These terms apply to all online laser safety self-directed courses provided by Laser Protection Adviser Ltd.

These online laser safety self directed courses are provided by Laser Protection Adviser Ltd, registered in Ireland. Contact email info@laserprotectionadviser.ie.

All online laser safety self-directed course places must be paid for in advance, and payment must be in Euros. Laser Protection Adviser Ltd. may refuse to provide a place on an online laser safety self-directed course, or withhold the certification of attendance and course material following an online laser safety self-directed course if the course fee has not been paid in full. The fee quoted for each online self-directed course is per person, and all charges are exclusive of VAT and applicable taxes, which shall be added to the charges at the applicable rate where applicable. The fees quoted are subject to change.

Digital content and right of withdrawal
The online laser safety self directed courses constitute digital content supplied immediately upon purchase. By enrolling in a course and accessing the course materials, you expressly request immediate access to the digital content and acknowledge that you lose your statutory 14 day right of withdrawal once access to the course has begun. If access to the course materials has not yet commenced, you may exercise your right of withdrawal in accordance with applicable consumer law.

Course access period
Access to the online laser safety self directed courses is granted for a period of one month from the date of enrolment. Course access will expire automatically at the end of this period unless otherwise stated.

All modules including quizzes and the feedback questionnaire must be completed by the participant before the certificate of completion is awarded. Participants have 1 month to complete the modules. The certificate does not constitute professional certification, accreditation, or a licence to practise.

The copyright in the material contained in the online laser safety self-directed courses, including the recordings, quizzes, presentation slides, course notes and documents design, text and graphics belong to Laser Protection Adviser Ltd. All rights are reserved. None of the material in the online laser safety self-directed courses may be reproduced, broadcast, displayed or redistributed without Laser Protection Adviser Ltd.’s written permission. You may, however, print copies of the provided notes for your own, non-commercial use. Laser Protection Adviser Ltd. owns all trademarks and logos, and you may not copy or use them in any manner.

Video and/or audio recording of the online laser safety self-directed courses, or copying of the content of the courses by enrolled participants is strictly prohibited. Access to the course is for viewing only by participants of the course only. You may not download, copy, or record it.

Suspension or termination of access
Laser Protection Adviser Ltd reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the course without refund where these Terms are breached, including unauthorised copying, sharing, recording, or redistribution of course content.

Laser protection Adviser Ltd. will use reasonable endeavours to ensure that the data in the courses is accurate, and to correct any errors or omissions as soon as practicable after being notified of them. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties and representations (whether express or implied) as to the accuracy of any information contained in the courses. We do not guarantee that the material will be fault free and do not accept liability for any errors or omissions.

Completing one of Laser Protection Adviser Ltd.’s online laser safety self-directed courses does not constitute a license to practice, nor does it guarantee your workplace free of laser hazards. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability which cannot be excluded under applicable law. To the greatest extent possible by law, you irrevocably, agree, warrant and covenant to indemnify and hold harmless Laser Protection Adviser Ltd., its officers, employees, agents and content providers (indemnified persons) against all liabilities (including legal costs on a full indemnity basis) incurred by the indemnified person in connection with the provision of the online self-directed by Laser Protection Adviser Ltd., except the liability arising from the direct negligence or default of any of the indemnified persons.

Training Records and Data Retention
Where a participant completes an online course, Laser Protection Adviser Ltd may retain records of course enrolment, progress, and completion, including certificates of attendance, for professional, contractual, and compliance purposes. Personal data relating to training records is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and retained only for as long as necessary for those purposes.

If you have a complaint or concern relating to an online laser safety self directed course, you may contact Laser Protection Adviser Ltd at info@laserprtotectionadviser.ie. We aim to address complaints promptly and fairly.

Self-paced Online Course Cancellation Terms

A full refund will be issued if you have not started any part of the course within 1 month, or your course start date can be reset.

Complaints

We are committed to providing you with a great service, and to do this we need you to let us know when we get things wrong. We want to help you resolve your complaint as quickly as possible.
Laser Protection Adviser Ltd is committed to dealing effectively with any complaints you may have about our service. We treat any expression of dissatisfaction with our courses as a complaint and will aim to respond within 5 working days. If we got something wrong, we will apologise and where possible we will try to put things right. We listen to your complaints, aim to learn from our mistakes and use the information we gain to improve our services.
If you have a complaint, raise it with the person you are dealing with. He or she will try to resolve it for you there and then. However, they may need time to look into it, and this will take no longer than 5 working days.
If we do not succeed in resolving your complaint, and you are based in the EU, you can address your complaint to the Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/main/index.cfm?event=main.home2.show&lng=EN, which is a free and multilingual platform provided by the European Commission to facilitate the friendly resolution of disputes between parties.

General

By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you agree to the terms of Laser Protection Adviser Ltd. Privacy Policy. Our Privacy Policy can be found in its entirety on our website at laserprotectionadviser.ie/privacy-policy/
If any of these terms and conditions are found to be illegal or not enforceable, then said terms will be severed and deleted and the remaining terms and conditions will continue to be binding and enforceable.

Laser Protection Adviser Ltd. may modify these terms and conditions at any time by publishing the modified terms and conditions on the website.

These terms apply to all live and online laser safety courses provided by Laser Protection Adviser Ltd.

All live and online laser safety course places must be paid for in advance, and payment must be in Euros. Laser Protection Adviser Ltd. may refuse to provide a place on an live and online laser safety course, or withhold the certification of attendance and course material following an live and online laser safety course if the course fee has not been paid in full. The fees quoted are subject to change.

The copyright in the material contained in the live and online laser safety courses, including the presentation slides, course notes and documents design, text and graphics (except where referenced) belong to Laser Protection Adviser Ltd. All rights are reserved. None of the material in the online laser safety courses may be reproduced, broadcast, displayed or redistributed without Laser Protection Adviser Ltd.’s written permission. You may, however, print copies of the provided notes for your own, non-commercial use. Laser Protection Adviser Ltd. owns all trademarks and logos, and you may not copy or use them in any manner.

Video and/or audio recording of the live and online laser safety courses, or copying of the content of the courses by enrolled participants is strictly prohibited. The course will be recorded by Laser Protection Adviser Ltd. for your convenience, and will be made available to course participants after the course for 30 days, after which it will be deleted. Access to the course is for viewing only by participants of the course only. You may not download, copy, or record it.

Laser protection Adviser Ltd. will use reasonable endeavours to ensure that the data in the courses is accurate, and to correct any errors or omissions as soon as practicable. Live And Online Course Cancellation Terms

Greater than 2 days prior to the course, 80% refund, or you may transfer to another course date or course.

Less than 48 hrs, no refund, but you may transfer to another course date or course.
